I had a referral from my original dentist for a tooth removal and implant for 1 of my teeth. When I got there, I was told I need to go to an endodontist first before being considered for an implant even though I already had a referral. It seems like the doctor took my $200 for the consultation and didn't want to do the procedure as I was told not to come back there since i lived 40 minutes away. I went to her because of the limited amount of Dr. that accept my dental insurance and I was familiar with the area. I am now out of $200 and still searching to get my tooth looked at and fixed.

“If you build it they will come.” We followed Dr. Kim from her former Downtown practice because of her superb skills. She is knowledgeable, quick dexterity, and astoundingly strong with deeply impacted molars. You’ll never feel and pain just pressure. The staff is exceptional and welcoming. Dr. Kim’s an ultimate professional and a hidden gem in the Hills of Vernon!

I just went to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday and had gum surgery as well. Dr. Kim did an AMAZING job! I was very afraid of dentists but that fear went away! Dr. Kim was so gentle and quick, she’s always looking out for you during the process making sure you are comfortable and ok, she definitely takes good care of you! I definitely recommend her! Her staff are awesome as well!

Dr. Kim is honest, professional and very skilled. I had an implant done and she went above and beyond to make sure the end product was to my liking. She treats patients as people rather than profit centers, something I value highly in light of other dental experiences I’ve had.

We recently moved here and found Dr. Kim via a referral. I normally do not write reviews but I'm compelled to provide my review because I cannot be happier with the periodontal work performed by Dr. Kim. She is not only technically masterful, but explains (and draws on paper) everything in a way where anyone can understand easily. I feel like I received an excellent education in addition to a top-notch surgical work on my gums. I have had a number of periodontists previously and Dr. Kim is the best hands down! You will not find a better periodontist. Highly recommend! My gums feel great!! Thank you Dr. Kim and staff! I will be back in a few months (unfortunately!) but so glad I found you!

I had some teeth issues and one of the main reason was that I was avoiding dentist visit for long time. Luckily, I was referred to Dr. Kim and I am glad that now I am her patient. Dr. Kim and the staff is very hardworking, honest and genuinely cares for better dental health of their patient. Dr. Kim explains everything very thoroughly, works very diligently until the issue is resolved. I highly recommend this office for any dental work.

My mother needed a few teeth extracted and a friend recommended Illinois Dental Specialist. Dr. Kim and staff were gentle, friendly and the office was very clean. I truly could see that they went above and beyond to make sure my mother felt comfortable and was well informed during her consult, procedure and follow up. We had such a positive experience and highest level of care that I would recommend Illinois Dental Specialist to all my family and friends without hesitation. My mother healed quickly and was just amazed how she barely felt anything. As a daughter I was so pleased that they really took the time and listened and made my mother at ease.
